Gray Zone Warfare’s Major 0.4 Update Slips Into 2025, Extra Patch Coming First

MADFINGER Games has confirmed that Gray Zone Warfare’s next major milestone, Update 0.4, will not arrive before the end of the year, as the team significantly expands the scope of the patch.In a new community briefing, the studio explained that Update 0.4 has grown into a much larger overhaul than originally planned, touching core systems as well as adding fresh content. Because of the expanded ambitions, the developers are taking more time and are not yet ready to commit to a firm release date. They plan to start unveiling specific features and changes once they are confident about the state of the update and how it improves the overall experience. Players are encouraged to follow the game’s official channels for future details.Before Update 0.4 lands, MADFINGER Games is preparing one more interim patch, version 0.3.6.0. That update will primarily target crash fixes and other stability issues and will be released once the most recent problems reported by the community have been addressed.


The studio is also planning one last livestream before the end of the year, built around a festive, Christmas-themed in-game community event.
