A storm of new content and improvements for both PvP and PvE players is heading to Gray Zone Warfare this spring. This upcoming update paves the way for the next chapter of the game. We've already shared some of the biggest updates during our Roadmap Reshaped stream, followed by a closer look at the Quality of Life changes coming with Update 0.3.

Now, it’s time to dive into Weapons & Gear not only are we bringing new weapons into the mix, but we're also making some big improvements to existing systems. Thanks to your ongoing feedback, we’re fine-tuning the way loadouts handle and perform to make Gray Zone Warfare feel better than ever. Let’s get into it.

New Weapons Incoming
We’re adding a variety of new guns and gear options to give you more ways to adapt to any combat situation. Whether you prefer picking enemies off at long range, fighting up close, or relying on your sidearm in a tight spot, there’s something here for you:

  • SIG MCX: A modular rifle chambered in .300 Blackout, built for flexibility and suppressed performance at medium ranges. It's a modern AR evolution, offering familiar handling but improved reliability.
  • MP7A1 / A2: Compact PDWs using 4.6×30mm rounds. Great for fast, close fights thanks to low recoil, high rate of fire, and armor-piercing capabilities.
  • SVD Dragunov: A classic semi-automatic designated marksman rifle firing 7.62×54R, perfect for players who prefer to control the fight from a distance.
  • Beretta M9A1: A dependable 9mm sidearm with upgraded features like a better grip, rail system, and larger magazine options.

For existing weapons, we’re introducing the Colt 1911 Commander, a lighter, faster version of the 1911 with serious stopping power. Plus, the Mosin Nagant carbine is joining the roster a compact, straight-bolt version of the iconic rifle. We’re not stopping here either new weapons will continue to arrive, carefully chosen to fit the world and atmosphere of Lamang. Got a favorite firearm you want to see? Let us know!

    New Ammo Types
The arsenal gets even bigger with two new calibers:
.300 Blackout: Hard-hitting and ideal for suppressed builds, especially effective against barriers and soft targets.
4.6×30mm: A fast, low-recoil PDW cartridge with great armor penetration, built for close-quarters dominance.
Improved Ballistics
We’re upgrading the terminal ballistics system to make every shot feel more real. Bullets will now behave more accurately after impact, including better modeling of how they destabilize and tumble inside targets, causing realistic internal damage.
We’ve also added intestines as a new organ, making gut shots far more devastating. Precise shot placement just became even more important.

More Customization Options
Get ready for over 80 new weapon parts from mounts and grips to barrels and iron sights giving you countless new ways to tweak your loadouts.
New optics are also on the way, including:

  • Aimpoint ACRO P-2 and Micro H-2 (compact red dots)
  • Vortex Spitfire HD Gen II 5x (compact prism scope)
  • Kaps Classic 4x36 OC (traditional 4x optic)
  • PSO-1 4x24 and NPZ PSO 3-9x24 (classic Soviet scopes)

Plus, we’re adding Tracking Tags attach them to your gear to keep tabs on it after death or when it's looted. These tags are time-limited but give you a major advantage when recovering lost items.

Quality of Life Upgrades
We’re rolling out smoother scope zooming and bringing scopes closer to the player's eye for a clearer, more immersive aiming experience.
The repair system is getting overhauled too. Gear won't automatically lose durability on death anymore — instead, it degrades naturally through use or heavy damage. You’ll have new repair options, including slower workshop fixes and quick-use repair kits.

Armor and Gear Updates
Big upgrades are coming to protection as well. New vests and plate carriers like the Plate6 (heavy armor) and Phantom Type 2 (balanced protection) will give players more options on the front lines.

For headgear, we’re introducing new helmets and variants, and a lighter option — the Skullcrusher — for players who want to use NVGs without full helmet protection.
Loot has been rebalanced too. Expect to find more valuable and practical gear across Lamang, rewarding the risks you take on missions.
